Carl Craig, born in Detroit in 1969, is a highly respected figure in electronic music. His musical output, encompassing genres like house music and techno, has been instrumental in shaping the Detroit techno sound. As the founder of Planet E Communications, he has cultivated a label that champions a broad spectrum of sounds beyond techno, including hip-hop, jazz, and funk, showcasing his eclectic taste and commitment to diverse artistry. Operating under various aliases such as 69 and Paperclip People, Craig has released six albums and an extensive catalog of over 600 remixes for a wide range of artists.
