Disclosure is a celebrated British electronic music duo comprised of brothers Guy and Howard Lawrence, hailing from Surrey. Emerging onto the scene, they quickly became synonymous with a sophisticated take on UK garage and house music, injecting it with elements of future garage and UK funky. Their signature sound is characterized by its smooth, often vocal-driven tracks, built on intricate basslines, infectious rhythms, and a knack for creating both dancefloor anthems and more introspective electronic pieces. This distinctive style propelled them to international acclaim, leading to significant achievements in the electronic music landscape. Early releases on labels like Black Book and their own DisOrder Records helped establish their unique sonic identity, paving the way for widespread recognition and critical success. Their music resonates with a broad audience, appealing to dedicated electronic music fans and those drawn to well-crafted, melodic dance music.
