Druggy Paul is a post-galactic inter-continental synth and drums duo from Providence, RI, and Tucson, AZ, comprised of Alec K. Redfearn and Daniel Paul Boucher. Characterized by their tripped-out kraut-haǖs disco sound, Druggy Paul's music is a unique blend of psychedelic and electronic elements, evoking the excess and experimentation of Studio 54's heyday. Their music often features lush synths, driving drums, and a sense of sonic exploration that defies genre conventions. As a duo, Druggy Paul has released music through the Wrong Way Archival Bureau, a label that has become synonymous with experimental and avant-garde electronic music. With their distinctive sound and boundary-pushing approach, Druggy Paul has carved out a niche for themselves in the electronic music scene, appealing to fans of psychedelic and krautrock sounds. While their scope may be limited to a dedicated niche, Druggy Paul's music is a testament to the diversity and creativity of electronic music, and their influence can be felt in the work of other experimental and psychedelic artists.
