Locked Club is a duo recognized for their distinctive contribution to electronic music, particularly their self-proclaimed "Russian Electro Punk" sound. As central figures and backbone residents of their collective, they have carved out a niche with a musical style characterized by an aggressive fusion of industrial and hard techno, intertwined with breakbeat, new wave acid, and the legacy of classic house. Their productions are further defined by rhythmic experiments drenched in dirty distortion and often incorporate vocal samples drawn from internet memes and vintage songs, adding a unique and often darkly humorous edge. This sonic approach, combined with their anonymous image maintained through signature balaclavas—a visual element that has been widely adopted by their fanbase—has cemented their presence. Locked Club has released music on a variety of respected electronic labels, including prominent contributions to Boysnoize Records and СТВОЛ, showcasing their impact within the underground electronic music scene.
